I don’t know whether the second part of the Third Order Manual [written by] M[oire?] is translated into English. In any case, I don’t have the slightest intention of asking for it, as no one has asked me for a copy of the first part.

I am sorry to have to tell you of the death of Fr Louis Rondel, in Wallis. Please inform Fr Maillard and say the usual prayers.

PS This sum of £1.4.6 which I have paid to Father Guillemin for you, goes back to last October or November. Father has not told me why it is owed, but he says that he had asked you for it without receiving a reply.
