Pierre (Br Colomb) Poncet

Pierre (Br COLOMB) PONCET, aged 25 (on arrival in New Zealand in Group V on 15 Jun 1841).

His stay at Kororareka was interrupted by a year in Auckland, but he found himself unsuited to the life and returned to France in 1844. He left the Marists the following year to go to America.
