I am a prospective postgraduate student at Victoria University of Wellington. I'm developing a proposal concerning the indigenisation of Christianity throughout the Pacific, with particular reference to the material and visual culture associated with Roman Catholicism. So I am naturally very interested in the correspondence of the Marist missionaries during the nineteenth century.
