- I have the honour of informing you that in order to pay the expenses occurred in the service of the mission station of Bishop Bataillon, I have this very day sent to Messrs Joubert and Murphy of this city a draft of 320 pounds sterling thirty days after sight to your firm. The very Reverend Father Colin, superior of the Marist Society, has been asked to put at your disposal the necessary funds to cover this draft.
