- This letter will give Mr Emile Franque the names of our missionaries and each of their addresses, in order that he may recommend them to the Captains of the whaling ships. It requests him further to inform us of favourable opportunities for conveying missionaries or letters; finally to use his influence with the Havre merchants to have a consul appointed in New Zealand .
