I am a Marist priest working in Auckland as Dean of Studies of | Good Shepherd College. I lecture in Systematic Theology. While studying for priesthood I completed a degree in Mathematics at Victoria University of Wellington. I taught Mathematics, Computing and Religious Education at secondary level, principally at St Patrick’s College, Silverstream, and Pompallier College in Whangarei.

For three years I was employed by the Qualifications Authority as the National Moderator for Religious Education. Subsequently, I spent four years in Rome studying for the license and then doctorate in systematic theology.

I have become involved in Marist Studies through working with Marist Seminarians. With Fr Kevin Conroy SM I organised a conference Catholic Beginnings in Western Oceania (27-29 July 2007) which was a curtain-raiser to the Suva Colloquium.
