- Sir
- [1]
- Wishing to build in Auckland a chapel for the natives and also a house to receive them when they come to Auckland only for a few days I beg to request your Excellency to grant me a piece of land in the town sufficient for that purpose – If possible, I should prefer a place in the 30th Section No 10 allotment as I think that place being very central would perfectly [answer?] the intended purpose but if [one if/of?] that allotment could not be granted I should feel obliged for any one which your Excellency would grant.
